Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Closer Fastlane ("we") collects, why, and what you can do about it. We aim to collect only what we need to run a useful sales coaching product.

What we collect

• Account info— name, email, and an optional profile photo. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile from Google's OAuth response.
• Sales profile — the context you enter (niche, deal size, experience, goals) so the coach can personalise advice.
• Coaching content — your chat messages, voice roleplay transcripts, and scores.
• Usage — basic activity like which features you use and approximate timestamps, used for analytics and debugging.
• Billing metadata— subscription state, plan tier, and invoice references received from Whop. We don't store full card numbers.

How we use it

• Provide and improve the Service
• Personalise the AI coach's responses
• Score and track your progress
• Communicate about your account and important updates
• Detect abuse and prevent fraud

Who we share it with

We share limited data with service providers that help us run the Service:

• OpenAI— your messages are sent to OpenAI's API to generate coach responses. OpenAI processes the data per their API data-handling policies and does not train on API traffic by default.
• Whop — handles payments and subscription state.
• Auth.js / OAuth providers (e.g. Google) — used for sign-in.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (password resets, receipts).
• Database hosting — your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database operated by our hosting provider.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct it by editing your profile or asking us
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your coaching history
• Withdraw consent for non-essential processing

Retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. Coaching transcripts are kept so you can review past roleplays. On account deletion we remove your records within 30 days, except where we must retain information for legal or billing reasons.

Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, scoped database access, hashed passwords — to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, so please report anything suspicious.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences (active tab, dismissed banners). We don't use third-party advertising cookies.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this Policy. If the changes are material, we'll notify account holders by email or in-app before they take effect.
